Capricorn Rising
Some of you might be already aware of what an ascendant is on your natal chart, to some of you this
might be new.
So, let me explain this in a very brief way. When you were born, everything that was happening in the
solar system influences you as a person. Most people are only familiar with their zodiac sign (the solar
sign) but aren’t aware that there’s more than just that.
That’s why some people lose their belief in Astrology because they don’t identify much with their solar
sign, and since they aren’t aware that the other planets and placements are important as well, they
become a skeptic.
So, for example, you might be a Virgo but emotionally you don’t identify yourself to Virgo, or you’re not
as organized as a Virgo.
This is just an example. That’s because when you were born there were more signs and planets than just
the solar sign and it’s possible to know all through your natal chart, which is what I like to describe as a
print screen of the sky that was taken at the exact moment you were born.
We call the Rising sign or the ascendant – the sign that was transiting through the horizon (where the
sun rises) at the exact moment you were born.
This is the sign that will be your first “mask” it will represent your physical body. It’s how you are seen in
the world.
Capricorn Rising
You have this serious look to you, very professional and are usually very petite. You don’t show your
week side to anyone and you aren’t easy to read.
You fear failure and you are very disciplined. You are a very hard worker and don’t let anyone get in your
way of achieving your goals.
Although you look very strong and confident you sometimes have a lack of self-confidence and you have
a hard time having fun because you value discipline and work.
2 nd House – Aquarius
You are very cautious regarding money, you don’t spend it easily and you make sure that whenever you
must spend it, that it’s for a valid reason. With Aquarius in your second house, you seek security in
whatever has a scientific logic behind it.
3 rd House- Pisces
Relationship with siblings doesn’t have such a great impact in your life; however, you might’ve found
yourself in a battle between emotions and reason with your siblings and or relatives, and with yourself.
4 th House – Aries
Your father figure was the person known for protecting the home in any way he could, even if it wasn’t
the most reasonable. There might’ve been a strict environment growing up; however, everyone would
praise and value communication within the household.
5 th House – Taurus
You find your creativity by creating to entertain; however, you don’t enjoy being the center of attention.
You want your work to be valued while you are in the “back office”. When having children, you are very
disciplined as a mother or father.
6 th House – Gemini
With Gemini in this house, your work environment isn’t very challenging for you and your team
members. Whenever there are any issues, you have the gift of solving them through communicating.
7 th House – Cancer
Your spouse has this nurturing energy that you’ve searched and lacked for all your life. Someone who
will understand how you feel and take care of you as a mother or father. You always look towards your
spouse or mother whenever you feel insecure.
8 th House – Leo
You have a hard time being intimate with someone, however, whenever you are, you expect to take the
lead and be the center of attention. With Leo in this house, you enjoy investing slowly and wisely as
well. You may have experienced sudden changes that have contributed to a lack of self-confidence.
9 th House – Virgo
You respect what others have to say and teach; however, you are very realistic and logical. You will
never believe what someone has taught you without questioning it and analyzing it. So, no matter what
others say, you will only trust in what makes logical sense.
10 th House – Libra
Your mother figure was a business-oriented person with great discipline. As for your career, you seek
something related to beauty and entertainment, as well as, something related to the law since your first
house is ruled by Saturn. Like mentioned before, you don’t want to be the center of attention, but you
need to feel personal satisfaction through what you do.
11 th House – Scorpio
You are very cautious and secretive about who you allow in your world. You don’t have a big circle of
friends; however, you are very protective of them.
12 th House – Sagittarius
You fear to show your vulnerability and emotions, as well as being in touch with spirituality for the same
reasons. You disguise your wounds through hard work when that isn’t the accurate way to heal.
