Moon in Aquarius Compatibility

This beautiful natural satellite of the earth that shines bright in the night sky, it affects
our behavior, it affects the earth’s tides and it has been an indicator for many people
all around the world informing when to garden, the weather, even serving as a guide
to several animals. For centuries people have used the moon to predict many events as
well.
In Astrology, the moon is a very important part of your natal chart. You’re probabl
wondering why.
The Moon, the ruler of the sign Cancer, carries your emotions from the past. Every
emotion you’ve felt in the past is registered and can create certain blockages or even
have you instinctively react or respond differently. The Moon is a great indicator of
how you protect yourself and what is it that you need to feel secure and heal
emotionally. The Moon in a natal chart also represents the mother figure and how
nurturing you are.
This is why this is the perfect spot to look at in your natal chart to understand if you
are compatible or not with someone else.
If your Moon was in Aquarius at the exact moment you were born, then you may
relate to the following description

You value what is fair, new, and humanitarian. You are not a fan of what is “usual”
because that is boring to you. You have your own style and own point of view and you
do not really bother not fitting in, nor do you accept being told what to do.
Some people might consider you to be emotionally detached because you are very
logical and intellectual and don’t like to spend time on showing your emotions or in
getting to irrelevant disputes unless it is to defend what you think is right.

Moon Compatibility
Aquarius Moon with Aries Moon
Aquarius enjoys Aries’s activeness and passion and has the gift of tempering Aries
whenever triggered. Aries might try to “own” or be more dominating in the
relationship and Aquarius will not appreciate that or allow that. Despite this, both get
along very well since both enjoy doing what is different and new.
Aquarius Moon and Taurus Moon
Aquarius will feel easily bored with Taurus traditionalism, and Taurus will not
understand Aquarius’s detachment and dislike of being indoors, routine and need to be

intellectually stimulated and social networking. Taurus needs to feel protected and
Aquarius will not make a Taurus feel protected by not staying at home or with sudden
changes.
Both are emotionally incompatible.
Aquarius Moon and Gemini Moon
This is a good combination since both adore to be intellectually stimulated and need to
have what is innovative in life. Both have a hard time being attached or to feeling,
meaning that you both each other understand one another at that level as well. Both
signs enjoy socializing, both might have a hard time confronting each other since both
hate confrontation, but since both have similar attitudes towards what really matters in
life, it should not be much of a problem.
Aquarius Moon and Cancer Moon
Cancer wants to take care and be the “mother” to protect and provide. Aquarius
doesn’t need nor wants any of that. Aquarius needs to feel free and not “trapped” or
“protected” by Cancer’s claw. Cancer is also very emotional, meaning that Cancer is
sensitive and can be very moody at times, Aquarius will not understand Cancer’s need
for attention nor vulnerability.
Aquarius Moon and Leo Moon
Both get along very well, however emotionally it is very hard to connect since Leo
needs all the attention, and Aquarius isn’t good at being that person who will provide
it 24/7; however, both enjoy socializing which is great, and enjoy doing what is
different. I see this more like a friendship rather than a relationship since Leo will not
work well with Aquarius’s need to feel free and not give that attention nor affection
Leo needs.

Aquarius Moon and Virgo Moon
Both will say NO to this relationship
Aquarius will say no to Virgo’s routine, need for order, for perfection while Virgo will
say no to Aquarius’s need to get away from routine and not go by the rules will lead to
Virgo feeling very anxious and not useful, and to an Aquarius feeling “trapped”.
Aquarius Moon and Libra Moon
Both respect each other, and value what is fair which is great!

On the other hand, you have a Libra that is concerned about pleasing people and not
being disrespectful while Aquarius is a wild card who will say things as it is, even if
that means having to break rules or displease people.
Libra also craves romance and affection, which Aquarius has a hard time providing.
Despite these differences, both can get along very well perhaps more on a friendship
level rather than a romantic level.
Aquarius Moon and Scorpio Moon
No way!
What an emotional contrast to having an Aquarius who is so detached, and a Scorpio
is so obsessive over what it loves. Aquarius will not accept Scorpio’s possessiveness
and protective ways, while Scorpio will feel insecure with Aquarius’s need to be
“free”. This combination will not work well at all since both praise different things
and have different interests.
Aquarius Moon and Sagittarius Moon
Both can get along very well, both enjoy what is new, do not need nor value material,
and love to travel.
Aquarius loves to learn what is innovative and so does Sagittarius; however,
Sagittarius has more of a philosophical view of things and if both views are not
similar this can lead to issues.
There is a lack of affection, attention, and romance in this relationship which is why
you would get along better as friends; however, it is not impossible. I view this as a
relationship where you would meet to have fun and respect each other’s spaces at the
same time.
Aquarius Moon and Capricorn Moon
Aquarius will not feel attracted by Capricorn’s traditional ways, nor need for
discipline. Capricorn is very conservative while Aquarius, on the other hand, enjoys
social networking and improving society. Both have different interests and value
different things. Capricorn values financial stability, routine, discipline, and
responsibility while Aquarius values what is innovative, learning, fairness, and
equality. Aquarius is impossible to be “domestic” while Capricorn is, and values work
and the value of money.

Aquarius Moon and Aquarius Moon
Both have what each other needs since both have similar energies. Depending on the
rest of the natal chart, one might feel as if there is no “love” between the both of you,

despite this, both might be very emotionally detached which might work in favor of
both getting along very well.
I can picture both traveling together, socializing, and fighting for what both defend;
however, you might not appear as a couple in public since there is not much affection
and you might not live under the same roof.
Aquarius Moon and Pisces Moon
Both signs are very artistic and creative and understand each other when it comes to
having to “escape” a bit reality; however, Aquarius does not understand Pisces’
sensitivity and Pisces doesn’t understand Aquarius’s need to feel free and detachment.
Pisces are guided through intuition while Aquarius is guided through evidence, logic,
and fairness. This combination might be a challenge for both.
